Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao is known as N.T.Rama Rao and by his initials as N.T.R. He is an actor, producer, writer, politician who also served as a Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for 3 times. NTR started his acting career as a police man in the movie mana desam in 1949. He was the most respectable person in the telugu film industry. NTR has perfomed many mythological roles in many movies.He is famously known as LORD KRISHNA to the telugu people and ANNAGARU to the telugu people one of the famous movies of NTR is MAYA BAZAR.
He has played the role of LORD KRISHNA in 17 films he has later stopped the mythological roles and began to play roles of a poor farmers these films and seen a big success because of the common man. He directed a film called "SHRIMAD VIRAT VEERA BRAHMENDRA SWAMI CHARITRA" and acted in the main role of the film .His last film was "SRINATHA KAVI SARVABHOWMUDU
Later He produced films in the later half of his career and also screenwriter he produced Nartanasala and many more films. He was an expert at KUCHIPUDI DANCE FORM. His movie lava kusa has earned 10 millions in time of his career.
He has received 3 national award for co-production of Thodu Dongalu and Seetha Ramula Kalyanam.Later NTR started Ramakrishna Studios in Nacharam. He received National Award for directing a film called "Varakatnam"
